St. Barnabas is the Church of England church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome.

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings, and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.

Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with. If so please contact us, or just turn up - the vicar is usually in the church building on Sunday at 10.00 am and from Monday to Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Our current church building was built in Swanland in 1992 after the congregation outgrew the chapel which had been in use from 1899. We are usually open as a quiet space for private prayer every day from 10am to 4pm. We are happy to pray with you, and you can write a prayer and leave it on our prayer-tree, and we will pray these in our Sunday services.

Our church is made up of ordinary people. We're not perfect, but we are continuing to learn more about God's love and the difference He can make in our lives.

We would love to welcome you here.

Revd. Kevin Barnard (Vicar)
